{Married} Natalie + Scott’s Elegant Wedding at Parque at Hunting Hill Mansion | Ridley Creek, Newtown Square, PA + Main Line Wedding Photographer

This past weekend was quite busy here shooting two beautiful back-to-back weddings, all the while meeting some truly incredible people. Today’s post is for Natalie and Scott, whom I’ve gotten to know quite well over the past year. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph their “season sessions” starting about 1 year ago from this time; one session for each season before their wedding.  They have such a sweet love story and I felt so honored to watch their love grow even more over the last year and then to finally witness all the support and kind wishes they had pouring in from their family and friends. Such a unique  experience for me as a wedding photographer where I typically spend only a short amount of time with a couple before their wedding day.

Natalie and Scott’s entire wedding day took place at the stately Parque at Hunting Hill Mansion in Ridley Creek State Park. They both got ready in Parque’s on-location bridal party suites, both spaces featuring uniquely antique details throughout. Natalie’s talented hair and makeup team of La Sposa Philly truly did an incredible job on the girls. They all looked stunning. And the men were as handsome as ever. Natalie and Scott exchanged beautifully written letters before the ceremony and had a non-traditional “first look” where they exchanged “I love you’s” from two separate floors without laying eyes on each other. It was a very special and private moment they had indoors as guests trickled into their seats just outside at the ceremony space. Natalie looked stunning as she walked down the aisle to her dearest love, Scott. The ceremony was beautiful and of course I couldn’t help but tear up as they exchanged their vows. We then had the opportunity to shoot portraits on the lovely grounds around the mansion. The reception soon followed, where all details were on point and everything came together perfectly. There were some awesome moves being displayed on that dance floor and East Coast Event Group kept the beat going strong through the night. It was a glorious day! I’ve put together some of my favorite photos below and want to wish Natalie and Scott congratulations again and many years for a happy marriage! Hope you enjoy the photos!

{Married} Mara + George’s Winter Wedding at Elmwood Park Zoo | Philadelphia + MainLine Wedding Photographer

It was the one of the coldest days in recent history but it didn’t even matter. It was Mara and George’s day. It belonged to them. A perfect reason to brave the below zero wind chills – to witness the superb and genuine love these two have for each other. They are such kind and wonderful people. There was zero stress about their day. Just pure love. The day began at the Double Tree Philadelphia Valley Forge and then their ceremony at Our Lady of the Assumption, a gorgeous Catholic Church in Wayne/Strafford. The reception continued at the Elmwood Park Zoo, which was the perfect venue for Mara, George and their guests. We braved the cold (hand warmers and all!) for some portraits next to their rustic, red barn, the jaguars and then a surprise visit from their Elk! Definitely an unforgettable experience for these two lovebirds to share on their wedding day. The party continued indoors at Elmwood Park Zoo’s newly renovated event space with delicious food and awesome music from Hot Hot Hot entertainment. Here are some of my favorite photos from their wedding day. Hope you enjoy, and congratulations, again, to Mara and George!
