{Married} Mara + George’s Winter Wedding at Elmwood Park Zoo | Philadelphia + MainLine Wedding Photographer

It was the one of the coldest days in recent history but it didn’t even matter. It was Mara and George’s day. It belonged to them. A perfect reason to brave the below zero wind chills – to witness the superb and genuine love these two have for each other. They are such kind and wonderful people. There was zero stress about their day. Just pure love. The day began at the Double Tree Philadelphia Valley Forge and then their ceremony at Our Lady of the Assumption, a gorgeous Catholic Church in Wayne/Strafford. The reception continued at the Elmwood Park Zoo, which was the perfect venue for Mara, George and their guests. We braved the cold (hand warmers and all!) for some portraits next to their rustic, red barn, the jaguars and then a surprise visit from their Elk! Definitely an unforgettable experience for these two lovebirds to share on their wedding day. The party continued indoors at Elmwood Park Zoo’s newly renovated event space with delicious food and awesome music from Hot Hot Hot entertainment. Here are some of my favorite photos from their wedding day. Hope you enjoy, and congratulations, again, to Mara and George!

{Married} Caroline & Tim at the Hyatt Regency Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia, PA

They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck. So, how about rain, snow, sleet AND hail?! That must signify the best of luck times a thousand! Most brides would be upset with this wedding day weather forecast but Caroline embraced it. She definitely is one of the most down-to-earth brides I’ve met to date. And, clearly, she is stunning as well. Tim sure is one lucky groom!

The day started out with Caroline and her bridal party and family helping her get dressed into her fabulous wedding gown. Afterwards, we arranged Caroline & Tim’s “first look” as they wanted to see each other prior to the ceremony. Shortly after that, portraits at Second Bank, the lovely ceremony and an incredible reception filled with lots of cake smashing, emotional and personal moments and tons of great music from the talented DJ Binh Nguyen of Silver Sound Entertainment. Floral bouquets and arrangements were from Sunflowers by Denise and the wedding cake was made by Bredenbeck’s Bakery. Jordana Neumann, Director of Catering for the Hyatt Regency, and her entire team were amazing with making sure the entire night played out perfectly and exactly how Caroline and Tim had envisioned it. Such a beautiful couple and such a gorgeous wedding. Wishing Caroline and Tim a lifetime of happiness! Hope you enjoy some of my favorite photos from the day!
